Founded in 2010, USIEA is a not-for-profit organi↕• zation registered in the United S"&γtates. USIEA focuses on internationalφ¥ education research and pro♦∑gram partnerships between outstanding←∏← Chinese universities and universities in English speakinπ✔g countries. We work exclusively with short ter♦×£m study abroad programming in the areas & §of student mobility, research and education∑₽φ∑.
Over the past 12 years, USIEA ha'∏↑s focused primarily βπon placing students at world-renowned☆βΩ universities through our strong par↔≤≥tnerships with institutional partners from the ε÷¥×major English-speaking countr→↕φies in the world, including Columbia •♦University, UC Berkeley, University of Pennsyσ&£×lvania, University of Camb&₽δ ridge, University of Oxford, London S®®γ$chool of Economics a&↑✘γnd Political Science, U→≤niversity of Toronto,♦δβ McGill University, University of Adelaide and ma↑↔§ny others. Our goal is☆ε"∏ to develop platforms for ×≈∑®mutual understanding and coo×♥peration between Chinese un©✔iversities and leadinα★>₽g overseas universities. In this rΩ♣÷egard, we develop short term progr•♠amming that meets thΩσe changing needs of high←¶&≠er education in China and provides Chinese st©δδudents with unique study abroad experiπ®ences to enhance their education. USIEA focuses oβ↑n developing and promotΩ≠>'ing , short term prog ±ramming in English language acquisition, summe ♠♥r programming, semester long proα± αgrams and custom programming.
In China, USIEA has ofφ♠fices in Beijing, Nanjing, ↕"Hangzhou, Guangzhou, X <i’an and Chengdu t↔♥₩σo serve students from a consortium of ✔✔₹±over 100 top ranked Chinese partner u↕∏∑niversities. In 2019, we placed oveγ∏εr 2,000 students on varioε>us short term programs provided by oπ &ur 18 overseas partner universities.
In addition to providing Chinese studentβ>₹'s with robust study abroad opportun φities, one of our other key func±₹©tions is to conduct research on internation←al education, particularly in the ar₩ε>ea of study abroad as it relates to s≈'tudent exchange programs↕♦♦. USIEA also gathers data with a focu≥§Ωs on government policy and∞± trends in higher education student mobilit€↓÷←y. The goal of the data collδ↑ection is to identify factors leading to ♠ε€success when designing and establisπ§hing joint programs. This information he↔±₹≈lps both Chinese and forei×₩"gn educational partners understa♦≠β☆nd how to create an optimal short term progrλ≤↔>am for Chinese students.
USIEA’s mission is to provide Chinese studeεσ¥nts with short term international programs at lea₽γπding universities in th♥₹€e world. With an increase∑♦d demand for international programming,→∏₽ we have recently expanded our study abroad de•$→stinations to other English speaking coun≈→tries including the UK, Ca>'λnada and Australia. £We have established collaborative relationshφ≥÷ips with the London School of ÷βEconomics & Poli↓≠ tical Science and University of Cambridge I∏"∞nternational Summer Programs in th••÷e UK, University of Toronto, McGill Univer≥sity University of British Columbia± and the University of Victoria in Canada π☆∑£and the University of Adelaide in Australia.
